Off Ice Officials

Paris Ringette is looking for volunteers to help keep our games running smoothly. We need scorekeepers, timekeepers, and shotclock operators — all of which are paid positions.

Whether you’re an experienced Off-Ice Official or brand new to the role, we’d love to have you join our team. If you’re new, training can be arranged so you feel confident before your first game.

Roles & Responsibilities

📋 Scorekeeper

• Record goals, penalties, and timeouts on the official scoresheet.

• Ensure all game details are accurately documented.

Timekeeper

• Operate the game clock.

• Record goals and penalties as they occur.

• Keep the game running on schedule.

🎯 Shotclock Operator

• Reset and stop the shot clock during play.

• Follow the rules for resets based on shots, penalties, and changes of possession.

• Maintain focus to ensure fair and accurate timing.
